The mission of Prattville Junior High School is to provide excellent educational opportunities which enable our students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and personal qualities necessary to be responsible and successful citizens.

Prattville Junior High School is the largest traditional Junior High school in the state of Alabama. We are home to over 1000 7th and 8th graders.
PJHS is home to an award winning Beta Club, an award winning full-color student produced yearbook, and an undefeated volleyball as well as 7th grade football season for the 2012-13 school year. Our Student Council works diligently helping with various events, giving tours, and hosting PJHS dances during the school year. Our BETA Club competes annually often winning various awards.
Our state standardized test scores are constantly ranked at the top for Autauga County, having posted a record high for the 2010-2011 school year, and among the elite in the entire state of Alabama. We are also home to top-notch athletics and a band program which out-performs all others in the state.
