Please note: ANY STUDENT WHO MISSES ANY DAY/DATE OF STANDARDIZED TESTING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN FIELD DAY! Students must be present all days of testing to participate. (If a student is sick and able to make-up the test...he/she will be allowed to participate in field day.)
May 6: ARMT Reading
May 7: ARMT Reading
May 8: ARMT Math
May 9: ARMT Math
May 13: ARMT Science (7th grade only)
On the dates of May 6-14 all students are required to take the ARMT+ (Alabama Reading and Math Test PLUS) during an extended homeroom period. These tests take a total of five days. Students must be present for testing because the ARMT+ is state-mandated for all Alabama students.
Please note that students will not be able to check in or out during testing; therefore, it is very important that students arrive on time. Please reschedule any appointments which conflict with testing. It is also important that students eat a nutritious breakfast and come to school well-rested.
Per Alabama State Department of Education Policy, the possession of digital devices (including but not limited to cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, or other telecommunication devices capable of capturing or relaying information) is strictly prohibited during the administration of a secure test. If a device is in the possession of a student, the device will be confiscated, the student will be dismissed from testing and the student's tests will be invalidated. Disciplinary action will be taken.
