I'm originally from southern Indiana. I did my undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University and my Master's program at University of Southern Indiana. I've taught high school in Indiana and Oregon. I taught conversational English in Barcelona, Spain for a month, too. Now I'm excited to change gears and teach 7th grade in Alabama.

I love reading, creative writing, and baking. In my free time, you can find me chasing after my two young children, testing a new recipe, or reading a good book.
