The 2023-24 school year will be my 32th year teaching Physical Education and coaching. Over the past 32 seasons I have been a part of 6 State Championships at the high school level. I was the head football coach at Autauga Academy during the 1999 season and my team posted a 13-0 season and won the class 1-A football championship, I also won Back to Back State Championships coaching girls basketball at Autauga. In 2002 I started coaching at Prattville High School with the football program as well as the girls basketball program. I became the head girls basketball coach for the next 3 seasons. In 2005 I became the Head 8th grade football coach at PJHS and the Athletic Director. During the past 18 years, I have served as an assistant basketball coach, and the head golf coach. We have over 25 coaches, and 300 athletes here at PJHS...I am currently the head girls basketball and girls golf coach. My wife Leigh and I celebrated our 33th anniversary this summer, I am sure I had football practice on that day, but after all these years she's use to that. My wife and I have 2 grown children. Erin, our daughter is working on a Masters in Elementary Ed. and Tripp, our son is working on his nursing degree. I have one grandchild, Goose (A chocolate lab) he loves staying at Coaches house, because he gets snacks all day and can sleep on the couch!
